New Zealand Update I
I wanted to keep kind of a diary of what I am doing while on my trip, and since I know that I have friends reading this who I can’t talk to in person on the phone, and who are interested to see what I am doing here, I figured this is as good as any place to keep such a diary.

Today I:
- Landed in Auckland.
- Drove (rode) to Te Mata (A super small town near Thames).
- Told everyone that it is in fact not very hot here compared to Georgia in the summer. (It’s comparable to a US August right now.) (And it’s like 75-ish degrees, whereas it would be 90 at least in GA. And everyone thinks it’s a sauna outside.)
- Ate a whole bunch of food. (They eat like 10 times a day here.)
- Swam in the pacific ocean. In February.
- Swam in a creek.
- Hung out with my super cool great-great aunt.
- Ate fresh mussels that my cousin caught about 3 hours beforehand.
- Watched the sun set over the ocean and took about 6 million photos.’
- Met a whole whole bunch of new people.
Next I am:
- Studying.
- Reading this book.
- Going to bed.
- Probably watching some HIMYM while going to sleep.
Tomorrow I am:
- Studying some more.
- Riding some train thing to the top of a mountain.
- Probably eating a bajillion more times.
- Going to ask my aunt to tell me stories from her formative years. Because she is sassy, and they will probably be hilarious.
- Hopefully post at least a couple of pictures from my trip so far.
