Dwelling: A List
Often, when I go somewhere, I wonder if I could live there happily or not. I do, for example, live happily in my hometown, but I would not, for example, like to live in New York City. So, here is a list of places I feel I would enjoy living, and perhaps would like to live someday (in no particular order):
Nashville, TN
Denver, CO
Grand Lake, CO
Grand Junction, CO
Seattle, WA
Victoria, BC,...

This is weird, but...
I really like the smell of the sanitizing rinse we have in the kitchen at work. It just smells sort of mildly chlorinated, like a pool on a summer day. It smells sort of refreshing, in a sense.
If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn’t help the poor, either...

Cleaning my room...
I just found a sweet note from my friend K-Garv from when I was leaving LaGrange. It made me smile and it made me want to cry just a little. But, in a totally positive way.

Too Long For Twitter 7
Every time I watch an episode of Psych, (which is filmed in Vancouver), and see the breath coming out of their mouths because it’s so cold, and they’re wearing not enough clothes because the show is set in Santa Barbara, it reminds me of being an extra in Blue Like Jazz, and I wonder how many other shows and movies deal with the cold conundrum.

Dear Future Husband,
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that I would prefer that you refrain from giving me those big boxes of assorted chocolates. I never cease to be disappointed with the quality of those chocolates, and they’re way overpriced.
In lieu of those stupid Whitman’s boxes, feel free to provide me with a bag of any of the following confections: chocolate covered pretzels,...

Too Long for Twitter 6
Just once, when I wear flip flops in the winter, and people ask me if my feet get cold, I would like them to break out into song, singing the line, “Don’t your feet get cold in the wintertime…” from “Desperado.”
Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At...

We're Never Gonna Survive Unless We Are a Little...
I just had the craziest night of probably my entire life to date. Got iced in at work. Pipes burst. Water falling from the ceiling onto the front desk. Slept about an hour.
But, honestly, I’m really happy with the way I handled everything. And the customers have been so folite and gracious. So, overall, the experience has actually been positive.
And also, if you’re interested in...

Unfortunate Likelihood
It’s looking more and more possible that I will not be leaving the hotel tonight, as the roads are already icy, we have a ton of people coming in to get off the roads, and there have already been several accidents. I guess I am fortunate to work in a place that actually has beds though.

Avoidance
I hate doing homework. In my freshman cornerstone class, I deduced that I have an avoidant personality. (I avoid things I don’t like, instead of tackling them head-on.) So, instead of doing it, I found 7 new youtube videos to put on effyeahindigogirls. Then, I made plans for after-finals dinner with my sweet friend, Sara. Ate some banana chips. Drank some coffee. Facebooked. Listened to...

Maybe all the good things will negate the one bad thing.

Handmade Christmas!!!
I am super excited about the tutorials I just found on the internet for the Christmas gifts I will soon be creating! I love to give handmade gifts, because you put extra time/thought/effort into things for people, and it’s like you create a nice little bond between the giver and the receiver.
So, for my cousin and my friend and probably my sister, I am going to make some of these cool...

It is extremely frustrating to me when I make plans with people, and then the people with whom I have plans flake on the aforementioned plans. I have a very limited amount of time off available, and I very rarely get Fridays or Saturdays off from work; therefore, the plans that I make (way ahead of time) for a Saturday night are pretty precious to me. And that’s all I have to say about that.

I'm Not Gonna Lie...
I’m watching Home Alone 2 on ABC Family right now. And it is great. Actually, it’s way more awesome than when I was a kid. I probably havent seen it in 15 years. The bird lady seriously made me cry. She was amazing. I would totally be her BFFL.
I mean, I’m a firm believer in watching sappy movies that make you feel good, and this one totally does.

Music III
It’s been a while since I’ve updated what I’ve bought from iTunes recently, and apparently I’m going through a season of a lot of music-buying, because I have, like a brazillion new songs since the last time I posted a list. Which, considering I usually buy maybe 1-2 songs a week, that is exceptional.
It should also be noted that this is probably my favorite kind of post...

Lazy
I kind of think that Tumblr being down for 24 hours has made me lazy. Like, I couldn’t post all day yesterday, so I didn’t, and now that It’s back up, I don’t know what to post about.
Or, it could be the fact that it’s 3 pm, and I’m just now having my first caffeine of the day, so maybe my brain just isn’t awake yet.
Maybe you should ask me a...

20 Wonderful Memories
Late at night when I was going to school at LaGrange, and k-garv would drive around on the sidewalks in her Taurus and multiple late-night excursions to waffle house with kgarv when I we were both in LaGrange.
Playing with my Uncle Champ at my second birthday party on the play set in my yard. And talking about the creature from the black lagoon.

Stem Cellllllllllssssssssssssssssssss
So, my group in my public speaking class is doing a persuasive speech on stem cell research. Our thesis is, “stem cell research is beneficial.” It had to be as simple and concise as possible.
My group is rather lame, so I am writing the whole speech. I am so tired of writing about cells.
Also, I am sick and all I want to do is sleep and watch TV, which contributes to my lack of...

Randomness
I had a great idea for a post today, but then I ended up doing 4 hours of homework instead.
Now I’m off to shop for dresses for my grandma’s wedding. Because, holy cow, my 75-year old grandma is getting married. How weird is that?
In other news, I found the most adorable pair of shoes today. And, in finding them, I am wondering if my lifelong inability to walk in high heels actually...

Someone answer this question for the love of all that is awesome! I am not a physicist, but I know one of you has to be.
“If one drops a frozen turkey from a table, it hits the floor. If one instead drops it from space, it burns up in the atmosphere. Thus, there should be one altitude in between from which you can drop it for it to be done when it comes down.”
